They're back! The dramatic duo of Charlie Steeds and Charlotte Roest-Ellis from THIS previous post. The shoot was rather hastily put together. As we all have very busy schedules, it was difficult to find a time space in which we were all free. We managed to set a time frame, and then, guess what? Rain. Lots and lots of rain. Buckets of it. The shoot was very almost canceled because of it, but I decided to continue and let the chips fall where they may. I had only ever done one other shoot in the rain, and that was a while back on the James Dean Inspired shoot.
So, we made our way to the church through many puddles, and began shooting. We had umbrellas, but I found it was actually more dramatic with the rain coming down. Because of this, more than a few times I would put the models in their places whilst they held their umbrellas. Then I would call 'umbrellas down!' and they would fling them out of shot and then proceed to get rained on whilst I quickly took the shots. This did produce some wonderfully dramatic effects though - such as the first shot. The results are unlike any other shoot i've done, and i'm very pleased with that. Would I shoot in the rain again? Surprisingly, yes!
