Went out for a walk today with my family and new camera. Found that I was particularly interested in the bare, leafless trees. Funnily enough, many other families had had the same idea - camera and children.

Tests: Whimsical
Firstly, may I just say say Merry Christmas! And Happy Boxing Day. I hope you all had a good one, that you spent fun times with family and friends, and that you got the presents you wanted! For my present, I got a new camera. I absolutely love it and am stunned with the quality compared to my old one. So, as was to be expected, I couldn't wait to do a shoot to test the camera out. (I had grown bored of taking pictures of random things around the house - namely, my cat) So I called in my mini model for a short shoot. And here they are!

Violets & Roses Photo Shoot
At last, here is it - the lingerie photo shoot! This was shot in The Mews, one of the most beautiful wedding boutiques I have ever seen. I was commissioned to do this by Violets and Roses. The day of the shoot was so much fun! It was amazing to see all the beautiful and intricate wedding dresses and garters. Really enjoyed doing this, many thanks to Hazel and of course Gail Crispin(Owner of The Mews). The model is Issy Isles and the make up is done by Liberty Jeffery.

The Dark Shoot
Little story behind this. I first saw this model when I was working at a shop and I asked whether she would be interested in modelling for me. She said that she wasn't sure. Bearing in mind that this was the first time I had seen her, I later found out that not only was she the daughter of the lady who worked in the shop opposite to mine, but also that she was friends with my two cousins. What a small world!
The outfit is a mix of my vintage clothes and clothes that the model had brought.

Slimbridge 2
Since the first batch of photos from Slimbridge went down so well, I'm putting a couple more on for your entertainment - and also to keep you occupied whilst you wait for the Violets & Roses lingerie shoot to come out. I'm very pleased with the shots, they came out a lot better than I was expecting! It wont be long now...

Orangery Snapshots
Worked as the photographer for Christmas At The Orangery this year. Had a really good time! Would definitely recommend catching it next year as it has loads of stalls to buy christmas present from.

Little Red Riding Hood Demos
Thought id just pop these up for fun. They are part of an art project I'm doing (I had literally no time but managed to find half an hour to spin out something). I'll hopefully be doing another, proper shoot - since this one was rushed - but will be making it more stylised next time.
I have a professional lingerie shoot coming up on tuesday for Violets and Roses, specifically wedding garters. Should be loads of fun, can't wait!

Quick Portrait
Thought it was worth just quickly sticking up this portrait I shot of Ellis Fitzgerald who is a guitarist in the new band, Molly's Confession. Check them out.

Birthday Commission Shoot
This was a special shoot in a way because my model more or less commissioned me to do these shots for her birthday. Coincidentally though, I was in fact going to ask her to model for me anyway, she just beat me to the punch.
My model brought her own clothes to the shoot but the scarf-wrap-thing is something that I had been storing for a while whilst I waited for the right shoot to use it in - turns out she was the model I had been waiting for.
So, I hope you enjoy these and a very Happy Birthday to my model!
For the commission, this is the image my model sent to me to give me some inspiration for the shoot. I believe the shot is from America's Next Top Model.

Slimbridge
Had the most fantastic sunday a couple of weeks ago to end the week off from school.
We went to the Slimbridge water parks where you get a big pack of bird seed and walk around the massive park, feeding seed to the enormous assortment of birds that stay there. I say stay there instead of kept there because mostly, the birds are free to fly away whenever they want - but they stay for the food.
Also, there are large water marshes and for five pounds an adults (Kids go free) you can take a canoe or coracle that holds three-four people and explore the marshes for an hour!
I would really recommend this for anyone. It makes a fantastic afternoon out for all the family.
So, to summarise, here are some of the shots I took from our afternoon at Slimbridge. Made for the perfect day. The last shot is actually taken from in the canoe whilst paddling around the marshes.
